HDE Series

The HDE series is a Class 1, Div 1, Zone 1 rated connector system for the most extreme hazardous locations. This product line is intermateable with the Pyle National AF/GD connectors, is designed for applications in the Oil, LNG, Air Transportation and Aerospace Industries.

The zero dwell snap action and labyrinth flame path facilitates use in many hazardous locations. A full range of insert arrangements is available for both power and control service.

Manufactured in aircraft quality aluminum or 316 grade stainless steel.

EFP Series

The EFP series has a similar modular design to the HDS series but is designed and certified for use in hazardous locations such as drilling rigs and oil refineries. The hardware is precision machined form aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodic coated. ‘Through shell’ conductivity is standard. Reversible inserts are a ‘one piece’ design with wire sealing and a ‘cork and bottle ‘ interface giving advanced moisture sealing for each contact pair.

Single pin through to 143 ways are available with service duty from control up to 1135 amps and 1000V AC or DC. Glands are available for unarmored or armored and sheathed cables.

R49/R24 Series

The R49/R24 series are single pole high load connectors manufactured in market leading synthetic self- lubricating thermoset rubber. The design enables the quick, safe and secure connection of AC and DC power in the most demanding of environments. Housings and couplers and manufactured in high grade aluminum and feature snap action ‘vibration safe’ locking mechanisms. Colored epoxy coatings are applied for phase identification. Self-adjusting contacts are precision machined from near pure copper and plated with our duplex tin plating system. The R49 series is designed for the industry standard ‘49’ footprint.

The new R24 series delivers the same performance as the larger R49, but with the industry standard ‘24’ metal connector footprint. This allows the safety and near indestructible features of the traditional rubber connectors but no disadvantage in panel space.

HDS Series

The HDS series is a rugged, versatile industrial connector. Shell hardware is of modular design allowing the connectors to be configured to exactly suit cabling and mounting requirements.

HSP1 Series

The HSP1 series is based on the HDS series but has application specific modifications for use in the harsh, high vibration environments found in the drilling industry. Typically the connectors are used in power delivery to: top drives, gen sets, traction motors, draw works, mud pumps etc.

The footprint on the panel is the industry standard ‘24’ (same as RMPR). Service duty up to 1135A and 1000V. Environmental sealing is to IP68 and the connector is sealed internally to avoid ingress when not mated. The extended coupling nut has locking screws to prevent disengagement under vibration. Copper contacts from 4/0 to 777MCM can be supplied with low resistance louvered bands for improved electrical and vibration performance. Typically the connector shells are colored for phase identification. A ‘through shell’ grounding system is available for increased operator safety and RFI protection.

VFD

The VFD series was purpose designed for the technical and environmental requirements of drilling rig variable frequency drives. These single pin connectors are aimed at the single core shielded VFD power supply leads up to 777mcm. Service rating is 2000V, 1135amps with IP68 particle ingress protection. The shell mounts on the Industry standard size 24 footprint and as such combines space saving and safety over any multi-pin connector for the same service.

The hard anodized aircraft quality aluminum shell hardware is super ruggedized and corrosion resistant. The double lead acme threaded enables quick and easy coupling. Connectors are color coded for phase identification. Conductivity of the cable shield is carried through the connector set providing complete 360 degree protection through to the panel or enclosure. Flexible braided shield boot are available for the rear side of the panel mounts when required.
